You crossed $500K. Maybe even $1M.
Revenue grew, but the business got heavier.
Every decision still runs through you.
Your team waits for answers.
Handoffs break.
Clients get served, but delivery feels harder than it should.
You hired help, but somehow you became more trapped.
That is the growth ceiling I help service business owners break.
I work with founder-led service businesses doing $500K–$2M where the owner has become the operating system.
You can sell. That is not the issue.
The issue is what happens after the sale:
- who owns the work
- how decisions get made
- where handoffs break
- what data leaders trust
- which systems are missing
- why the business still depends on you to keep moving
I come in as a Fractional COO and operations consultant to find the leaks costing you time, money, momentum, and team capacity.
First, I diagnose what is actually broken.
Then I build the roadmap.
When clients want me to stay and help run the fix, I do that too through fractional COO implementation.
- I do not sell mindset.
- I do not bring canned frameworks.
- I do not hand you a pretty strategy deck and disappear.
I help rebuild the way the business actually runs.
Recent work:
Led a four-week operational assessment for a multi-program organization scaling nationally. Audited five programs, interviewed eight leaders, and delivered an 18-month operational roadmap covering KPI alignment, data consolidation, role redesign, and funding diversification. The CEO left with a prioritized action plan, not consulting theory.
Earlier in my career, I was embedded inside a retail lender during a multi-million-dollar portfolio sale after the company had cut 85% of staff. I audited complex mortgage files others could not untangle. That work taught me how to find operational leaks under pressure.
Twenty years later, I still do that work — now at a higher altitude for service businesses, nonprofits, and founder-led organizations stuck at the ceiling.
If every decision still runs through you, your next hire may not fix the problem.
You may need to fix the operating system.
